Events such as the Ligna evening offer you the opportunity to meet other members in an uncomplicated way.

Knowledge

Every three months, the BDH Academy organises online seminars on topics and trends relevant to the wood industry. In presentations and moderated discussions, experts share their knowledge, present their assessments and are open to your questions.

Career

The degree programmes in Holzwirtschaft, Bioressourcen-Nutzung and Wood Science open up a wide range of career opportunities. Orientation is provided by the event “Wood Science in Professional Life“. Both long-standing professionals and newcomers will report on their experiences and will be happy to answer your questions.

Job offers are regularly published on this website. If you wish, your offer will be sent to the entire network with the newsletter. You can also post your job application there.

The Stiftung Holzwirtschaft awards grants, for example for study or research stays.

As a BDH member, you benefit from these and numerous other offers and resources of the association free of charge. By the way: If you would like to play a part in shaping the association yourself, instead of being a passive member only, you are also very welcome. Feel free to contact the board!
